    The City of Buena Vista offers a multitude of parks and recreational activities throughout the year.  The largest park is Glen Maury Park which contains an 18-hole golf course (www.thevistalinks.com).  You can learn all about Glen Maury Park at their official web site, http://www.glenmaurypark.com.

    Glen Maury Park consists of 315 acres of scenic, level and rolling land, and is owned and operated by the City of Buena Vista.  The park has a 52 site campground, group camping area (250 units), Olympic-size pool, wading pool, tennis, playgrounds, picnic shelters, roller skating rink, trails, river fishing, and ball fields.

    Additional recreational opportunities are sponsored by civic and social organizations, including schools, churches, 4-H Club and community groups. Buena Vista is surrounded by portions of the Jefferson and George Washington National Forests which offer numerous outdoor recreational opportunities.  With special events held all summer long, you're sure to come back time after time.
